An accomplished Voice Teacher and Coach, LISA HOGAN also teaches songwriting, musicianship, theory, arrangement, and production. She is currently on the faculty at City College of New York, and has served on the faculties of La Guardia Community College in Long Island City (CUNY), and Montclair State University, Montclair, New Jersey where she specialized in voice classes for musical theatre and pop, as well as private lessons. She began teaching private voice in Manhattan in 2003. She has studied vocal pedagogy through the New York Singing Teacher’s Association (NYSTA) Professional Development Program. She is a musical director, and has also produced shows for many of her students at various venues in the New York area.

As a songwriter and composer she has released two records and appeared on numerous others. She has licensed material for Nickelodeon, and currently has a song running as a video on LOGO's network and website written with the songwriter Charlie Demos. The video Insane has been selected as one of the top 10 for 2010. She appeared on Celebrity Apprentice with the Brett Michael's team in 2011.

In 2006 Lisa received an M.A. in Music Composition at the Aaron Copland School of Music City University of New York - Queens College. Her original compositions have been performed by the Second Instrumental Unit, the International Contemporary Ensemble and reviewed in the New York Times. Her compositions have also been performed at The New England Conservatory of Music, and most recently at the March, 2010 IUP Indiana University of Pennsylvania Ninth Festival of Women Composers. She received an A.B. in English from Cornell University.
